Chris Thile's Live Performance?

Hey guys,

I'm a huge Chris Thile fan, but I have never got to see him live. Nickle Creek is playing here in Dallas next month.. and I was wondering if Chris does any of his solo material? Like something off of the Deciever? Thanks..

He probably won't do something off Deceiver because his new album is coming out soon. But one or two new songs might be played.

Chances are, he won't play anything off of Deceiver....though he will do some sort of solo piece during the enocore (or, probably will. I know he has for the past several shows). Chances are, it'll be Bach, but he might do a song or two from his new album.

Also, they usually come out after the show to meet the fans, and sometimes they'll bring out their instruments and play for another 30-ish minutes. Awesome, right?

The last time I saw them, which was in April, Chris didn't do anything solo during the actual show. Afterwards, however, he came out by the bus and played for over an hour. He did some Bach and Radiohead, but he also played 5 or 6 of the songs off of HTGAWFTG, as well as some random requests people asked him to play.
