You walk into...

You walk into subway and order...?

I order a footlong subway melt on italian bread with some lettuce, sweetcorn and a little bit of onion. The I maybe have some honey mustard.

Or sometimes I may have a seafood sensation.

What do you order when you visit your local subway??

footlong turkey on parmesan oregano bread with provolone cheese, toasted with mayo, lettuce, pickles and cuccumbers, salt and pepper and that is all. without fail, every time, the only variation is that sometimes i get it on wheat with ranch.

footlong ham and turkey on wheat or the oat bread. with lettuce, pickles, carrots, cucumbers, oil, vineagar, salt, pepper, and salt. Though the last time I ate that combo I woke the next morning with hives so I think I will be ordering a different combination next time.

Rhode Island is neither a road... nor an island. go! umm ok no. let's see:
how is everyone (who is in school) coming along with school? currently i am getting my butt kicked by my class schedules. we have a stupid group Project in my Mass Media and Society class. i am a semester away from graduating college and i have a group project like in middle school. it is making me crazy. i HATE groups. (wow i sound mean, i'm not, just an academic loner) but it is consuming me and i am getting tired of it.
anyone else?

school? hey, a subject that rules my life.

i am LOVING my literature classes, but Brit Lit I is challenging. And while many classes are challenging because the professor stimulates you to analyze and get into the material for yourself, this class is challenging because instead of thinking for myself, I have to figure out how to think like her. Make sense? She basically wants me to write exactly what she would write, exactly how she would write it. a little frustrating.

that said, I can barely believe I only have 2 more academic semesters plus one of student teaching...then I'm done!!

school has become my will to live. if i could JUST get out of it... i could JUST get on with my life. but i have this stupid group project on Wednesday and my group is not cooperating very well as a whole. no one is slacking, but the group dynamic is somewhat amiss.
on another subject... HALLOWEEN!! title=Big want to see my costume?
let me give you some backstory... everyone says i look like Belle from Beauty and the Beast. so i wanted to be her, but not really. because i have been a little convinced that sometimes beauty hides uglier nature than an ugly outside does.
so i made Belle a cutter. (because i cannot stand the idea of people who cut.) so Beauty, is not very Beautiful... anymore.
Halloween Me!
(i didn't upload it to avoid overloading the thread for a change.)

Yours is really cool, Rhiannon! Didn't get any pictures of my costume - I went as Al Capone's illegitimate daughter, Leonora. Basically, I had a gangster hat but couldn't think of any female mobsters. So I made one up.

btw, Ornot, that's a very Hampden-Sydney-esque picture. you wouldn't happen to know what that is, would you?

thanks Rachel! and don't worry about being lost without an actual costume idea... one year i just wore slutty clothes and sunglasses and went as my own evil twin. it worked. so yours was fine i am sure. anything to avoid being the token "person who does not dress up". my boyfriend just stopped shaving all week and went as a "werewolf in the real world". sometimes it just pays to try.

'tis! one of the only all-male colleges in the US and the epitome of Southern culture in many ways (except for maybe the crack). anyway, your pic looked like an HSC guy.

Heh, take it as you will. More like a "my i've seen that before" reaction. Seeing as I'm dating a Hampden-Sydney fellow, it can only be but so much of an insult without discrediting myself.title=Stick

Oh those rules must be the kind where you make them up as you go along. Right? That's the only way I am guaranteed to win in any sort of game.

*intimidating

Did you know if you farted consistently for 6 years and 9 months, enough gas is produced to create the energy of an atomic bomb.

Kinda, but not really.....well uh, yeah.

My husband has been wanting a Springfield Armory 1911. I'm thinking about getting him one for Christmas.

I use a Beretta 92 FS, I guess its mine as I'm the only one who shoots it.

Springfield makes an amazing 1911. I looked at them, as well as the new Dan Wesson (produced by CZ-USA now). Still....with the prices being so similar, Kimber was the only way to go. I have the Tactical Pro II (night sights, grooved grips, 4" barrel, all the trimmings). Right out of the box I had a 2" grouping at 15 yards. :-D

A friend of mine has that same Beretta. I really liked it. I also have a Glock 19 that I absolutely adore.

myself, i don't do handguns -- i'm more of a vintage weaponry kind of girl. my favorite has to be the faux-kitana that a friend gave me -- faux only because he carved it from wood rather than folding the metal. it's still pretty sharp though... and pretty, with a carved hilt.

my other favorite weapon has to be the quarterstaff. i just started training on it, so my sparring's not too good yet. maybe it'll get better. hopefully.

then again, i also throw knives as a hobby. so maybe i just like really sharp things.

I'm gonna bump this thread up and say a few words.
So, homework is gay. I'm the world's biggest procrastinator. Our English teacher is a psycho and assigns us 3 introductions to be written by tomorrow today ... lets just say we give her some funny nicknames ...
